Northern Traders came into existence 14 years ago via The Northern Company* when there was hardly a cauldron to be found on the planet. Northman the Finn, who could make and invent just about anything, made the first cauldron in a garage on a home-made wooden lathe and poured the first cauldrons in a little foundry in Illinois. Northern Traders has grown to be a supplier of old-fashioned antique style cast iron along with many other holistic, metaphysical and outdoor items to stores and botanicas around the world. Since that time, Northern has added many more items to the repetoire such as precision stainless sterilized needles for medical and tattoo piercing industry, candles, tee shirts, original published books, crystal balls, bottles and stones and more - most are original designs. EXCHANGE AND RETURN POLICY
Northern Traders offers original design cast iron pots and accessories, tattoo and Permanent make-up supplies, medical supplies, piercing supplies, sterile equipment in additional to candles, crystal, original incense and much more. We are committed to customer excellence. If any item purchased through our website does not meet your expectations, please call for a return number and return the merchandise within 7 days from receipt in its original unused condition for a store credit. Your complete satisfaction with our products is our goal. A Northern Traders credit is valid for one year from its issue date and can be used for any Northern Traders purchase. A shipping fee is charged when shipping an exchanged item to you.

STOCK AVAILABILITY
Due to the popularity of our products, a product will occasionally be out of stock. Our website is updated daily to show what is in stock or out of stock. We can place backorders. We will contact you immediately to inform you of the expected delivery date via email for out of stock items. For many of our items, the expected arrival date is posted right on the website.

DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE
If an item is received by the customer defective or damaged, you must contact Northern Traders at 800-704-6111 or email us at the link below within 7 days of delivery. We will be happy to promptly correct the problem. In some cases, the delivery company might have to inspect the damage, so do not dispose of your packaging.
RETURN INSTRUCTIONS
For Exchanged items, after we have confirmation of your original order and receipt of the return in its original condition, a Store Credit Memo will be issued and e-mailed to you for your records. Your store credit is valid for one year and is based on the purchase price minus a restocking fee of 25 percent. Should you need to return merchandise damaged in shipping, please keep the original shipping box and we will have the box picked up and returned to us. We will promptly replace these items after we receive the returned package, please note the following requirements. Omission of any of these details is cause for the merchandise to be returned to you. We value your time and want to make this process quick and easy for you.

* Northern Traders will not issue refunds for exchanged merchandise.

* We will replace any merchandise damaged in shipping when we receive the return package.

* Contact us for a return authorization number.

* Please indicate the reason for your return on the original packing slip and enclose with your shipment.

* Return the unused product in its original packaging with all accompanying materials (instructions, etc.)



WHEN MERCHANDISE CANNOT BE EXCHANGED
Northern Traders will not issue refunds for returned merchandise. Regretably, we will not exchange merchandise for the following reasons:

 Merchandise that is sent back to us after fourteen days

 Merchandise that has been used or merchandise not in its original condition

 Personalized or customized items

 Perishable or edible items

We regret that we cannot accept returns COD. We do not reimburse shipping charges.

For your protection, we recommend you send your return via Federal Express, UPS or by USPS with insurance and delivery confirmation for tracking purposes.

DROP SHIPMENTS
Our standard shipping time is same or next day shipping for in-stock items. We can send a packing list only upon your request. Orders are charged in full upon first shipment of merchandise. Items ordered together may arrive in different boxes at the different times. Items placed on backorder are not charged until they are ready to ship and you will first be notified. For an additional fee, in-stock merchandise can be shipped overnight, 2 day or 3 day shipping but you must call us for these special arrangements. Northern Traders can ship COD upon approval but you must call us at 800-704-6111 to set that up. That is not a service offered through the webstore. If you provide us with a P.O. Box address, your order will arrive by United States Postal Service. We always use the least expensive method of shipping your items, especially the cast iron pots.

At this time, Northern Traders ships items in only in the continental United States for the posted shippng fee of 6.95. If you would like to order to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada or other International locations, you must call to make special arrangements. We do apply some shipping credit for these customers.

UNCLAIMED MERCHANDISE
If your order is returned to Northern Traders Warehouse for any reason, we will make every attempt to contact you immediately either by telephone or email. Please make sure that your shipping information on your order is correct. All orders re-shipped at your request will require an additional reshipping fee. Orders returned and not reshipped will be refunded to you less a 25% re-stocking fee.

CANCELLING AN ORDER
Northern Traders endeavors to promptly ship your order. If your order has not yet shipped, please email your cancellation request to ntwholesale@earthlink.net or call us at 800-704-6111.

PAYMENT METHOD
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover Card and Money orders send via postal service. We do not accept personal checks without prior clearance and there is a possibility that we will wait for the check to clear the bank. All transactions are protected by Authorize.Net Merchant Account Services. Authorize.Net Merchant Account Services is a secure transaction engine for processing and managing credit card payments. If you are uncomfortable submitting your credit card information over the internet, simply call our customer service department toll free at 800-704-6111.

OTHER INFORMATION
All International duties, taxes and fees are the responsibility of the buyer.
